Surrounded

About the painting

Surrounded: finding light in a living constellation

Surrounded is an original oil painting by Andrea Angelov, arranged around a bright central burst of white light. Rainbow rays spread outward through a fantastical landscape, touching a human face, a birdlike figure, curled shells, hanging plants, and intricate organic patterns. The composition feels like an encounter with many forms of life gathered around the same source.

The painting’s details move between the recognisable and the symbolic. A face appears at the edge of the light, a long-beaked bird looks inward, and peacock-like textures curve through the frame. Blue, turquoise, lavender, green, and pink create a luminous atmosphere, while the repeating forms suggest a world held together by hidden relationships.

Connection, light, and symbolic spiritual art

Surrounded is expressive wall art for collectors drawn to mystical symbolism, rainbow colour, sacred presence, and surreal nature. It can bring a vivid focal point to a meditation room, creative studio, living room, bedroom, or eclectic gallery wall. The image can be read as a spiritual embrace, a circle of protection, or simply a reminder that no experience exists in isolation.

The open edition fine art print retains the original oil on canvas’s detailed textures and radiant palette. It is available through Andrea Angelov’s studio in Ski, Norway, with international ordering through Etsy for collectors seeking meaningful rainbow decor, visionary painting, and colourful contemporary art.
